Alpha
Alpha is an opportunity to find out more about God, the Church, Jesus, who you are and whether there is more to life than what you see around you. It's a great chance to find out more in a relaxed friendly environment with no pressure and expectation.
Alpha is for everyone! The course is particularly suitable for:
People interested in investigating the claims of Christianity
Newcomers to the church
New Christians, old or young
Those who wish to 'brush up' on the basics
Those searching for meaning and purpose to life
The course is centred around a series of talks, looking as such topics as:
- Who is Jesus?
- Why did Jesus die?
- How can I be sure?
- Why and how should I read the Bible?
- Why and how should I pray?
- What about the Holy Spirit?
- Does God heal today?
- What about the Church?
Southside Family Church is not currently running an Alpha Course but courses are being held in Bedford at:
